Meeting El

A cozy corner in a discreetly hidden cafe, becomes a peaceful haven when you are in the best of company.

My dearest friend El drove down from neighboring Dubai for a few days.
Meeting up with El is something I wouldn’t miss if you paid me for it. Her energy and warmth takes one by surprise. What’s even more radiating is her honesty and persona.  El would never pretend to be someone she’s not. She’s comfortable in her own skin and has no airs about herself, whatsoever. That’s an Irish trait, I’ve heard. Being their true selves comes naturally to them.

El has a way of making the most boring people seem fascinating. How else would you explain her patience with me over the years!?.
I’ve known El for the past few years and with every conversation I grow fonder of the woman…El is bubbling with energy. Her flair for life is quite contagious and her spirit never dying. She is one of those rare people who can chat you up in the middle of the road and would think nothing of it.

El,if it is Karma that brought me to you, then I wouldn’t mind it being a bitch at other times. Like they say, the good things of life come in small packages. You though; are a great thing. Love you lots.
